Actual Play Episode 16 : Gamma World

When we last left our heroes that had just narrowly escaped a nuclear explosion at one of the Cognitive Advanced Research Laboratories.

Melvin, an alien from another world, helped them flee the doomed site inside his flying saucer. Unfortunatley, their prized jeep, U2 the urban surveillance droid, and Hank’s horse didn’t make it.

Hurtling at great speed, the saucer headed west on a preprogrammed path, it’s destination unknown.  However, the saucer was not properly refueled before they left. Will they crash into the ocean? Let’s find out.

    Ah, just the thing to ease the post-Christmas doldrums. Of course if your characters were really genre savvy they would have avoided the abandoned fairground, as well as presumably the unexpected mansion on a hill. And the docks. In fact they probably would have just waited in the swamp for Sparky to wake up and then strapped him back in as a battery until he died from exhaustion or they found some place nice to settle down.

    Another excellent episode. These Gamma World podcast have been some of the funniest and well put together actual play podcasts on the web. Not only that, but they really help me get through the long days at work! Thanks a lot for posting them!
